Good morning ladies. My heart is full this morning as I have spent time praying and asking the FATHER to engrave HIS WORD on my heart and to weave it into the fabric of my life. I am asking HIM to do this in your heart and life too. I want to share with you this morning a few verses from Acts chapter twenty. Acts 20:22-24
And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there. I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me. However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the LORD JESUS has given me--the task of testifying to the gospel of GOD's Grace.
In the rest of the verses in this chapter Paul says a final farewell to some believers that he has ministered to and with. He realizes that he will not see them again and so he encourages them to remain strong in the faith and to be on guard as folks come in and try to dilute the WORD and change the message. It is amazing to me to watch Paul as he says farewell.
Paul was concerned with ONE THING. Ladies, he wanted to finish the race that the LORD JESUS had given him to run. His desire was to be found faithful all the way to the end of the course. He said, "The Spirit of GOD has made it clear to me that I am headed for difficult days, But that's OK, as long as I can run the race that HE gave me to run!"
I find myself this morning asking the FATHER to give me a heart like this. Ladies, with all of my being I want to be found faithful TO HIM. I love you because I believe that HE has called me to this ministry, but more than loving you and more than loving to share HIS WORD with you, I WANT TO LOVE HIM. I want to love HIM so much that it matters not what HE asks, I would be willing to give it. I believe that was Paul's desire. I believe that is the desire of many of you.

FATHER, give us hearts this morning consumed with loving YOU. Give us a desire to serve YOU that transcends all difficulty. May we remain faithful regardless of the struggles and battles that lie ahead. May we come to YOUR WORD and draw strength from YOU so that we can continue to run the race with endurance. May we keep our eyes fixed on the goal of becoming more and more like YOU until we are standing face to face before YOU. O LORD JESUS, that our hearts would be overwhelmed with the reality of who YOU are, and the fact that YOU were willing to lay that down in order that we could have relationship with YOU. May we NEVER get over this reality. May it never become common place to have been invited to come into YOUR PRESENCE. What a thought...daily, even moment by moment, YOU, KING JESUS, invite us to come into YOUR PRESENCE and to share our hearts and our burdens and to ask YOU to change us and make us like YOU. WOW! Thank you for the privilege. May we realize that this privilege brings with it great responsibility. O FATHER, may we be found faithful in this regard. Thank you for hearing this prayer, and for being the ONE TRUE LIVING GOD. I love you! Make me more like JESUS today.
In HIS MATCHLESS NAME I pray this prayer. AMEN!

Because of HIS Matchless Grace-
Vicky
