Good morning ladies! I have only one verse for today. Let's look at Proverbs 23:26: My son give ME your heart and let your eyes keep to MY ways.
I believe that is the secret to living the abundant life that GOD offers us. We are told in the book of John that JESUS came that we might have life and have it more abundantly (to the full). How do we get this abundant life though? What must I do to live a life that is full and satisfying? If you are asking those questions this morning I have wonderful news for you! I have already given you the answer to those questions. Proverbs was written by Solomon to his son, but ladies, the Bible was inspired by GOD to us HIS CHILDREN. Give HIM your heart and keep your eyes fixed on HIS WAYS.
The beginning of this chapter in Proverbs is about the pursuit of material blessings and the end of this chapter is about the pursuit of physical pleasure. There is nothing wrong with either of those pursuits UNLESS they fall in line before GIVING YOUR HEART TO THE FATHER. I would like to close this morning by asking you to ask HIM to examine your heart. Is there something in your life that comes before GIVING HIM YOUR HEART?
