And yet another local Street Racing Legend from the "Old Skool" is gone but not forgotten! Donnie and my Ol' man knew each other very well back in the day and had a great respect for one another. Not to mention, that in the end days, it was Donnie driving that cab, that got my Mom to her Doctors appointments in Hdg. on time EVERY time! She used to tell me how the County bus NEVER got her there on time or just plain wouldn't show up, and Donnie's stories would always entertain her on the way to her appointments! I had some great times with Donnie!I have so many stories about car racing and car building,and things we did as friends.I met him when I was 18,and through out the years we did all kinds of stuff together.I learned some stuff off of the old boy too,he knew a good bit about a bunch of cars,other than Chevy's as well.
