Homosexual ministers and deacons are allowed in the American Baptist Church USA.
As proof, this statement was taken from American Baptist Church USA member Oakhurst Baptist Church, which is located in Decatur, GA.
"In this fellowship, "there is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female, for all of us are one in Christ Jesus" (Galatians 3:28). Therefore, we reject any status in this fellowship in terms of church office, possessions, education, race, age, gender, sexual orientation, mental ability, physical ability, or other distinctions."
The fact that the current self appointed Florida Bible College Alumni Association President Pastor Steve Bils is a staff member of the pro homosexual , pro Girl Scouts, and pro women clergy liberal American Baptist Church USA has many Florida Bible College Alumni in an uproar.
