Noel is a way for Christians to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ FREE of all comercialism and paganism, at the true time of year that Jesus was born. Emphesis is placed on the reading of the biblical birth record of Jesus as found in Luke 2. No decorations are put up at all except for live manger scenes, which are encouraged. No gifts are to be given except those given to Jesus, his church, and the truly needy(the least of these). Traditional old fashioned Christmas hymns are sung by all of the congregation, and basic white candles are lit to signify Jesus born as the light of the world. We hope that the true spirit of the birth of Jesus spreads across the entire earth via the NOEL celebration! Noel takes place the last Saturday or Sunday night in April each year.
