Subject: After Abortion Author: Ms.J [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 17:37:22 03/13/06 Mon I had an abortion a little over a week ago. This would have been my second child. I terminated because of health difficulties I had w/ my last pregnancy. Yet I feel so sad. I feel like I am going to hell and that I will not be worthy to possibly carry another one of the lord's children in the future. I don't know how to cope w/ these feelings. I know under the circumstances I did the right thing, but I can't help but feeling sad. I pray over it every day and hope I will come to some type of closure, but I don't think that will ever happen. I hope you will visit www.safehavenministries.com - they have more active message boards there and it tends to be quiet on this one. You do need to seek out the path to healing. God will forgive you, but you need to ask Him. Many women find that naming their baby(ies) and writing to them is helpful. We all grieve a little differently, but you do need to grieve. Hugs, Kris
