What tunes out there are easy for a fresh beginner with a practice chanter? Something simple to learn after knowing how to play the scale and gracenotes. This will give me a boost in the confidence area. Thanks

Ask your teacher, s/he should have a plan of development for you. If you don't have one get one and learn the instrument properly.

Get the College of Piping book one.

Scots wa' ha' is great...it is slow, has some nice doubles on d and even sounds great after you have been playing for a while. It is great to learn to march and good for warm-up on the misty bog or ocean morning practice session. Good luck.
