I am looking for a drumming instructor and am at a loss as to how to find one in my area. Does anyone know of a posted list of instructors in the Southeastern, PA or Baltimore, MD area? I am willing to travel to Philadelphia, Baltimore, Harrisburg or their surrounding areas, but I am not sure where to start in finding an instructor. I am currently in a Grade IV competition band (Ceol Neamh, out of Lancaster, PA) and would like to improve my personal drumming abilities and possibly consider solo drumming. If anyone knows of a potential instructor I may contact in any of these areas, please let me know. I specifically want a highland drummer for an instructor, as it is important to me to develop my ability in understanding the expression/dynamics of pipe tunes and highland drum parts in order to improve my overall playing in my band. Please help!
