At present I play a wide bore blowstick manufactured by Airstream.

Are there any others on the market and if so who are the manufacturers. Also are there any links to photographs of these items.

Yours in Anticipation

John

My vote is for Peter Crisler's blowpipe. Very well done indeed and I think the price is right. He will even remove the mount from your old blowpipe and put it on the Crisler blowpipe.

Sorry, don't have pics but maybe Peter can help. Please be patient with him as his wife is ill and his family is a priority...rightly so.

You can find Peter's products at http://home.att.net/~peter.crisler/ or just run a search for Peter's Pipes. I've also seen his blowpipes being sold by several distributers now(Aberdeen Bagpipe Supply)I have him making me a set of delrin pipes up for general knock around and carry( almost indistructable) very pleasant person. As stated, working with him you have to be patient, he has his own tool and die business that also takes alot of his time plus his own piping.

I do believe McCallum and Caledonia Road are
also making large bored blowpipes now.
McCallums is also adjustable and the Caledonia
Road one is brass tube lined if I am not mistaken.
Both have blackwood and polypenco models available.
