As with everything in the piping world, it's shrouded in controversy and rumor/fact. I hope people don't let it get more out of hand than it already has and miss the point: The FOUR-TIME world Champions are playing at Maxville! That's a big thing for some of us who don't get to Scotland often/at all and who are fans of SFU but have never seen them perform live. But to answer your question, who knows? Only the 78th Frasers know, everyone else is wasting their time playing the guessing game. I'll throw my hat in the ring, I'll say it's probably something to do about money. That's always the culprit.
