Can anybody tell me how the regular length (with counterbored holes) practice chanters by Walsh and Dunbar compare in terms of pitch? I'm a classically trained musician and bad intonation makes my skin crawl.
thanks in advance!

If bad intonation makes your skin crawl, I would be willing to bet that almost any practice chanter will give you that feeling. I've played trombone for about 40 years and pipes for 3, and I still don't care for the sound of a practice chanter. You do get used to it, though. Good Luck!!
