I am looking into buying a set of smallpipes. I have been trying to decide whether to buy the smallpipes in D or A and then I found out that some makers make an A/D combination set of pipes.

Has anybody had experience with the A/D combination?

Are there any quirks with the A/D combination that you would be free from if you were to buy the A or D seperate or are they equally reliable?

Lastly, does anyone have any advice on what maker to buy from. I would definitely want the bellows blown pipes. I noticed a website by Ian Kinnear. They look like nice pipes but I know nothing about him. I have looked at several other sites including Ray Sloan. Any thoughts?

Thanks for all your help.
