Yes...The "pilot" whitewater release from the Quemahoning Reservoir that was requested from CSA for the Rendezvous this year (April 23-25) has been unanimously approved by the CSA board this afternoon.

The pilot release in April will only be a maximum of 100 cfs (if needed) due to existing hardware limitations, but the point is not how much water they can release currently......the point is the fact that CSA has demonstrated complete support for this project that can benefit everyone.
Now it is our job to make sure this somewhat historic event is well attended to send a message to everyone involved that this is a good and viable project for our region.

We hope to have the main valve constructed (500+ cfs) by Summer, 2005.
