Subject: Strainers removed from Quemahoning Creek

Podratsky and I cleared Que Creek (upstream of the dam) of a few strainers last week. One of them was river wide with a 25" trunk in fast moving water. That was a bugger, but now clear (though we could not totally remove the trunk - what is left poses little or no threat).

As always, new strainers can appear from day to day, so always use caution.
