Subject: Info on max levels for Stoneycreek and gauge

Can someone please tell me what the suggested min and "max" Ferndale levels are. AWA posts min = 2.8 and max = 6.75. Also, is there a big difference in difficulty between Ferndale = 3 and 5? I did it at Ferndale = 5 and was glad to get off the river. What is is like at 4 and 3.
