My friend Master Nav. Peter De Boer died in a Valetta crash in Malaya June 15 1956.Have found his grave site alongside Sgt Sherlock & Sgt Manners buried in K.L. but can find no record of the crash. Have been in touch with Group in Malaya which researches wrecks, they have numerous details of other crashes but none concerning my friends aircraft.Can anyone help please?

The Valetta was VX521 and sadly 9 were killed.
There is also a website detailing these names and initials at:

Now that you have got date, aircraft type and serial no., and place, if you send a large SAE to the RAF Museum at Hendon they will send you a brief accident summary.

I hope this helps to relieve some of the pain
