Here are some of the changes made. posted.

8) Small Blocks under 500 ci can run “2” separate N2O systems. i.e. 2 foggers, fogger and plate or 2 stage plate. Must add 100 pounds to base weight Small blocks can run “2” 10 pound bottles “Y”ed into a single #6 line or use “1” 15 pound bottle

9) Small Blocks running “2” kits, may not exceed .060 nitrous jets combined on the 2 kits, i.e., first kit .036, second kit .024

10) Big Blocks and Small Blocks over 500 ci’s will be limited to a .044 Stainless Steel jet maximum on each cylinder on a fogger. Dual entry plates are limited to “2” .088 stainless jets on the nitrous along with a single solenoid.

Next Year Racing! -- Test Tube Baby!!!!!!, 17:45:47 11/19/09 Thu

Coach for one thing I respect u for what your trying to do to help.Yall are trying to help the small blocks get into the o's.Thats good an all but happen when technology gets a little better for the big blocks and the small blocks is at a stand still. Then what will happen.Go back to one kit after all these racers spent money in this tough time.It dont work like that Homie.Listen to me.If yall wanna let the big blocks be wide open then let them be,But you should let the small blocks run what ever heads they want to.I don't care about the 2kits.You can run just as fast on 1kit than 2kits.I think yall just as well ttt5 is gonna lose alot of racers next year to 8.5.For one the pay is higher, but u want a small time racer to go spend $1200-$1500 just to by a great fogger.Time and money to get everthing wired in and time at the track testing a new setup.I'm glad everthing works on the people who run the show and not the people who is making the show. Why don't you ask a racer who is running I'd say 30's on 1kit to run 15's and you big block still running o's and 90's.Tell me how would you fill.Probably next test day go to track and pill it up and blow ur shit trying to keep up and yall wondering why the car count is down.I know thats drag racing.I'm speaking for the small time racers.Lets here what the racers think about that.

Lets talk about what you said here, My opinion is or can be irrevalent to the racers, but had been a racer myself, and watching how everyone is spending money on these combo's are high dollars.
You said head change,
Purchase the head of your choice. Meaining that you will have to change the intake, replumb it, for your new system, new pistons, carb, need to be recalibrated, new rocker arm system, valves, push rods, Maybe a camshaft change to work with the new heads, from this you could have just purchased a big block, well over $5000 +

Now look at this.
Pull intake, purchase extra kit, installation fee.
Being a chassis guy, there is multi of things that can be done for weight loss with out spending multi amount of money. There is alot of parts on the car that is going for free ride, that can be removed or replaced with lighter parts that is inexpensive. Upgrade your suspension alittle to handle the extra kit. Alot of these guys are still running stock supension, the rules alow ladderbars, see what your favorite chassis guy could install these items of for you. I am not giving a price on the board it will haunt me.
Yes heads will help, I am not downing the idea, it might take all of this for the small block to keep up. TEST & TUNE. Any other comments on this. Just my opinion. Because i am not racing, Just want you guys to get along on the starting line.

You can run just as fast on 1kit than 2kits.I think yall just as well ttt5 is gonna lose alot of racers next year to 8.5.For one the pay is higher, but u want a small time racer to go spend $1200-$1500 just to by a great fogger.

The 8.5 class is still hanging on the wall for rules scrutiny.
TTT5 & U/S & Tuff Street is combo rule limited, which everyone is working on at the time.
8.5 class, is almost a run what you brung on a 8.5 tire, which was supposed to be the limiting savior, no head limit, no nitrous limit, back halfs, four links, ladderbars, weight reduction, two carbs, sheet metal intakes, front facing hood scoops, or what ever, just weight the weight for your combo. And just think the turbo guys haven't even tried running at that class yet. The turbo don't give a damn about that tire, built in traction control, the 8.5 is like a gear change to them, probably speed them up in the 1/8. etc, etc, is everyone ready to spend the money to compete in that class. Right now everyone here has one carb, one kit.
I am going to get kill for this, get your big block to put on some 8.5 tire, that will bring them down to small block speed, teens, and 20's. just my opinion. How cheap that can get? small block don't have to spend any money, stay with your same tire. Can you guys convince Trevor, Jason, Unc, Garland,Randy, many others, to put on some 8.5 tires and still run in the class. But we for got there are some more big block cars that are still in the 20's
Like I said, JUST MY OPINION.

That is a great idea, for the big boys, to put on some 8.5 tires. Like you said that's not an expensive move for them. Then they can pill it till they kill it.

Coach how do you know some of the small block don't already have the heads that yall outlawed. We race to fit yall rules. Some people already have those thing you mention up top about changing there combo. So what you saying is everyone should by a big block. It's cheaper and faster right.I'm not putting the big blocks down but not ever one wants to run a big block. You can;t knock them for that.

Never disagreed with you TTB. The rules were put in place by the TTT5 team, in which U/S & T/S decided to follow. At that time or past, we didn't have a split problem, which everyone had agreed on or voted to follow. Technology is changing every day to improve everyone combo. We can't stop that. Old school is the day of the past. Not everyone has the set of heads sitting in there garage to install. When everyone in the class was putting there combo together they were building them to the rules, yes a lot of heads were outlawed in all areas. I feel that everyone think that the weight factor was the answer to control the class speed, that is not all the answer here. I am a true small block person, have been all my life, owned two big blocks, only success with one, but more winning success with small blocks.
If I was getting ready to build a car and looking at this class I would build a big block or a small block turbo. From all the people I know, I feel that I would turn in to one of the persons that everyone would hate on me because I have been through every expect of a racecar and know enuff to make one tick. And my expense would be 15% less because all the things I can do myself.
Think of all the guys that have purchased the 23 deg. heads on building there combo, and weight reduction was put in place along with it, even these guys have not improved last year, they are still following the upper class small blocks, there again I would say weight was not the leading factor there, didn't help. Most of them are still in the 30's how do we help those guys.
TTB I think you are by youself, your comments are great, but where is your help here.
I will still say, Just my opinion, You guys are the one that are spending the money, I don't make the rules, your peers do. This is what this thread is about to get a good opinion from everyone to get comparity in the classes, we can't satisfy everyone, but if you don't bring it out, we don't know what people are thinking. All suggestion is not bad nor it can be good, but to bring it out in the open, you might hit the nail on the head with a good idea, and maybe we could put it into reality.

I still own a car to build, but finances say no. So I will stay on the line and watch you guys beat up on each other.

Forgot to ask, TTB what heads do you have sitting around, to change your combo, what are you running now? How fast have you been with your present head combo. on chevy, SB2 canted valve would be wonderful... SBF, all out Yates style heads, they have been reinstated by TTT5 and was allowed by the U/S & Tuff Street. And the one guy that runs the Yates head at this time have not shown a superiority over no one as of yet.

Coach,
I dont want to speak for the other SB guys as what they feel like they need might be different then what I do. I dont want two kits and even if it is allowed I will not put a second on. I feel like my car will go a decent number on one. Not be the fastest by any means but run good. My crew and I are looking for consistancy in 2010 and I dont feel like two kits is the anwser atleast not for me I cant afford to kill my stuff every pass. I WANT WEIGHT BREAKS!!!. I ran at 3250 all year. Thats to heavy. My car can get as light as 2910 ready to go give me a chance to run light and let me see what I can do. I ran one time last year just TNT with the weight out and man this thing would MPH for the pill that was in it. TTT5 is talking about letting me run at 3150 next year and I still think thats way to heavy. JUST GIVE ME A SHOT!!!. Either way I will race next year

O boy here we go.One of the Big Block Boys making a commits. We all know you got the fastest car around on stock susp. You should be good.So I wouldn't say anything. That car of your is capable of running 80's just give it minute. You name me a person that has a small block that will get an 80 or even better yet get an 90 out of that.Like I said to coach ealier in the post.I have nothing bad to say about ya'll BBG'S.Ya'll the ones making all the hp and won't the give the SMBG'S and chance to make the HP.Yes add another kit will help, but it will be limited on how much NOS we can use to make it.We don't mind running you guy's on 1kit,but limit BB'S to lesser NOS.You still making 2 or 3 hundred mor hp on motor than a SMB motor any giving day.So how I look at it is the advantage is to you guy's already.A SMB just has to fit in.Everybody is talking about weight. Most of these cars are already over weight anyway. An to give us a weight break aint gonna solve anything, because ya'll know our cars can't get that light. To all the BBG's.I wanna ask you a Question. How many SMBG's out there will run 90's.You thinking.Because the first person that comes to mind that has the baddest SMB in those classes is Charles Riggins. That's the only person I know that will even get close to ya'll with 2kits.An I don't even know if he is going to do it.Why would he F_ck up a perfectly great combo he got going to run ya'll asses down. He's a smart man and he knows he can't so why would everbody else.

I know everyone has been reading Joe's board, about the delima of the 8.5 class. Hopefully we will have the rules from the TTT5 class up in Dallas, we have this past year followed their rules. Ultimate Street & Tuff Street worked real well last year together, having two classes in the Houston area could cause a problem on schedules and conflict. Joe has mention he wants things to stay the same in the rules, He does not want a cap on anything because he knows that E.T's & mph what brings the spectators out to see a race not cap off cars. You guys would have to come to some kind of an agreement to get this thing back in check.
I am not telling the SB guys to hurt there combo to get where the BB guys are, This will go on forever. If it takes to open up the heads for small block to keep up do it. Two Kits, do it, reduction of weight. Do it. No one can tell me about weight reduction, I know it can be done and not very costly. But its a racer choice. I sit back and read about what guys can't do their cars. Well what made you get into this? If we can't get this done we might as well go get in the 8.5 class and you will still have an never ending problem there. I ready know if you go there you will be buying two kits or more keep up, and weight reduction will come into play before its all over with.
Our cars are stock body cars with frame wells and all. Do you guys have a chance in that class? So we need to come up with a plan, so that I can present it. You guys are getting ready to go away silently if you don't know it.
JUST MY OPINION. STANDING IN THE STAGING LANE HOPING TO SEE YOU GUYS BEAT UP ON EACH OTHER WITH COMPARITY.

Now coach. If I give my name what would that change anything.Probably not,but if I do I'm whinning about this and that.I'm not doing either just want to making it far.Now far is everbody race 500ci motors 1kit spray 400 at 3300lbs.Or 400ci motors 1kit spray 400 at 3100lbs.For example u c where I'm going with that. Not evervyone has both so it would never be far. It's either your 540,565,598,632 on 1kit making 1050hp or 1100hp on the motor spraying 450 500 or more.Small blocks 400,406,422,434,440,etc making 880hp to 950hp on motor. My point is come up with a very good logic with out the 2kit and poeple like me would stop talking. It's my fault for bying a small block anyway, but that's all I know. One last thing. What would happen if a small block made 1050 or 1100hp on motor what would everyone say then. Now that's fair. Thanks Derrick for understanding where I'm coming from.

MR. DERRICK,
I am the guy that keep these guys together, and try to listen to their problem, so that we can keep this class alive. I am the one that put the Ultimate street together. I am a friend to 99% of the guys that comes on here. Yes Test Tube Baby is making some good points, and I respect him very much for the things he is trying bring out. Most of all the guys here will post there name as like you did, and it does help, it normally brings things out in the open to really know how the other racer feels so he will be respected more. This class has a very good of group of racers in it, from Austin to Houston & maybe Dallas. All I am trying to do is keep us together in harmony and go racing.

BY THE WAY, I DON'T CARE IF THE SB GUYS TALK THE BB GUYS IN TO CAPPING THERE CARS, BUT I ALREADY KNOW THAT WILL NOT SLOW THEM DOWN FOR LONG. IF THEY DO THEY WILL LOOSE A LOT OF SLOWER SMALL BLOCK GUYS OUT OF THE CLASS THAT CAN'T KEEP UP ANYWAY.

Thats all good an all Coach . But the one problem over there that Texas is having is . Now don't get me wrong guys, Texas has alot of fast and awesome cars . Back to my point . You guys put together all these classes which turn out to be good classes in the beginning but after a while the cars start to get lesser and lesser . Why ? Because the rules are open and left open and racers see that and beef up their hotrods . Coach , if you have a class that has 12-14 cars running 5.20s for example and more getting ready to come out . Common sense would tell you to implement rules to keep those cars coming and building from there. Those guys are setting their cars up to run those times . By leaving the class open and letting it get faster and faster will rid of all the cars that started out with you jus to see 5-6 cars run 5.0s . THE crowd will eventually get tired of no car count . Dont you think it will be more exciting to have a class that you have a bump time to qualify ?

Test tube, I have always said, give the SBC what they need to keep up and give the turbo's what they need also. I'm on your side, whoever you are.

Test tube, just use your name, we all want this thing to work. It is just hard to give a respectful concern to someone who can't even post their name. Have you even ever raced with us? If not, that would be a good start.

Derrick, what do yall got faster on one kit and a plate in an old piece of shit Camaro? I am planning to come for the BMF Xtreme race and will be competitive as it sits. So why don't yall come here and kick the shit out of me? Cause it would be a waste of your trip.

Sorry, I've been away so long today, getting a limited street car ready for the U/S class.
Trevor, looks like there are people out to get you beat. I love this. I am reading if I am right, Big blocks say do what ever it takes to get there with a small block, Small blocks says that they are not spending the money for this, or we can't get our car that light to catch up, Small block say cap the big blocks, At one time we figured that when a big block put a plate on this would keep him capped, but Trevor proved that wrong, he went beyond the bounds of speed with it. So one mentioned Riggins, If you didn't know I know Riggins very well because I built his car. He is waiting on the TTT5 rules to get completed to make up his mind on which direction he can go. And Derrick you say that TTT5 rules are no good, this is the reason of the low car count? Show us some good rules that we should follow, post them on here or website to find them for us all to look at. If this would work the guys will not rule them out. We need something that will work for all and like I said, keep comparity. But I will tell you some where in the hunt someone will go beyond the barrier of technology to get ahead, if you don't know what to look for, HOW CAN YOU FIND IT. We have not gotten that far yet to take a racer car completely apart yet that will get costly on tech cost.

SOMETHING FOR YOU GUYS TO RATTLE ON FOR A WEEK -- COACH, 11:05:53 11/19/09 Thu

SOMETHING FOR YOU GUYS TO RATTLE ON FOR A WEEK.
OPEN SUGGESTION, OR FACTS. WE KNOW WHAT IT WILL TAKE TO GET A TURBO CAR TO THE 5.0'S
WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO GET A SMALL BLOCK ON NITROUS TO THE 5.0'S WITH OUT DESTROYING THEM.
WE HAVE TALKED ABOUT 2 KITS, WEIGHT REDUCTION, WILL THIS REALLY HELP?
THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO MAKE THIS CLASS INTO A INDEX CLASS. WE SAW OUR PREDICTIONS, FROM LAST YEAR, AND WE HIT STONE, WE HAVE BROKE THE BARRIER WITH ONE KIT ON BIG BLOCKS. MY BELIEF IS NOT TO CAP THE BIG BLOCKS LEAVE THINGS WIDE OPEN, AND GET A DOOR OPEN FOR THE LITTLE MOTORS. IF WE DON'T WORK ON THIS WE WILL HAVE A SPLIT CLASS.
BRING IT ON

PS. My saying... TO BEAT SOMEBODY YOU GOT TO BE THERE, NOT SITTING ON THE PORCH WHINNING. WELL THIS IS YOUR TIME TO START WHINNING AND HOPE THAT YOU GET HEARD. TALKING TO YOUR BUDDIES ON THE TELEPHONE IS NOT GOING TO GET YOUR OPINION IN THE CIRCLE. GETTING ON HERE AND SPEAKING YOUR OPINION IS NOT MAKING YOU A WHINNER, BUT WHAT YOU FEEL THAT WILL HOLD THIS CLASS TOGETHER FOR YEARS TO COME AND KEEP COMPARITY IN THE CLASS & HAVING FUN, THIS IS NOT A JOB.

TTT5 schedule -- TTT5, 21:48:12 12/31/08 Wed

We are having discussions with Ardmore Raceway in Ardmore Oklahoma about having a race in March. They really want us to bring our Extreme/Ultimate Street show up there. Also we have talked to the owner of Penwell out in West Texas about a race date out there as well. Both of these races, if booked, will have larger than normal payouts. We will keep you posted. Right now our 1st race is scheduled at North Star in Denton for April 4th. We have 4 confirmed dates at North Star for April, June September and November. We are expecting TXR to give us the 3rd Friday in April, June, August and October and should have confirmation in the next few days.

WHO'S AT HOME FOR CHRISTMAS? -- COACH, 20:52:58 12/24/08 Wed

For the first time in a long time, I am at home setting at the computer. Not on the job, (sorry Chad B.) But that's the way life rolls. Man Christmas is not like it use to be, sitting around waiting to open up your presents and laugh with your family. I am hoping that everyone is at home tonight or with there LOVE ONES, enjoying this great event of Jessus Christ Birth.
Our racing season is over for this year, and we are now started to head into another season, (can't wait).
To see you guys going back into action, to watch each and one of you compete against each other to show who's the best in what they enjoy. It brings back all my memories when I was racer.
I want to thank all the guys that participated this pass year in the Ultimate Street Class, with out you all this class would not even happen. I am very happy with its growth, and participation that its got.
Thank God for the New Class Committee Members, to give there time and effort to build, and keep this class in parity, and growth. When you got a group of guys that is working on your question and concerns, you can rest insure that it wasn't one person decision, and now that we are working with Texas True Ten 5 up North Texas, this will also help the growth across Texas and surrounding states.
Once more, I want to Wish Everyone A Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.

Your talking about 5.00 s and 5.teens next year . maybe even a 4.90. you guys are talking about doing the same thing that the L/s 10.5 classs is trying to resolve there car count with equal car ets. There might be 5or6 cars that can run that fast.Dont ruin u/s.because when the fast cars that are winning all the time.your car count will go down to 8 like it was before.maybe have two classs. and work on a purse to benifit everyone. Just my two cents.

[> E.T. Predictions -- Coach, 08:40:18 12/22/08 Mon

We all know that when someone beat you in the other lane, and send you home, you will probably pick up the pace to come back stronger than you left. Everyone is out to be the baddest of them all. Those dawgs that are E.T. speed hungry, hasn't won a race as of yet in this class.(Maybe once) Its been about consistantcy. Building points and being at the races to give that top dawg a hard time. If any of the top speed guys won because the little guys stayed at home, other words on the porch.
They all come out of the trailer to be in No.1 qualifier position, Everyone has that same attendency to do the same. The guy that comes out of the trailer on kill, with 16 cars in the field, there is a 50/50 chance he makes it. Kill, destroys motors. Your launch become very inconsistant, and other matters to go along with it.

No we don't want to destroy the class with high E.t.'s but how do you stop them. A second chance solution is okay, but wonder if one of your big dawgs go out on a red light or blew tires off, and the ones that didn't make it still got a problem. I bet everyone that is viewing this is wondering what is it going to take to be top person for next year. Waiting under the christmas tree for the right part to speed them up, or least put them in the hunt.
Our E.T. prediction is a dinner game, that we welcome anyone that is racing with the U/S next year to play, the closest wins Dinner, at the end of the season. I feel that we all having fun. Prediction is a matter of question marks to see when it happens. (if it happens)
The most interesting about this is, the racers are performing these E.T's with one power adder, with stock/ladderbar suspension, non backhalves, with multitudes of weight, verious engine combo's.
WHEN YOU BECOME THE TOP DAWG. EVERYONE WANTS TO CUT YOUR TAIL OFF.
TO BEAT SOMEBODY, YOU GOT TO BE THERE, NOT ON THE PORCH PLAYING WISHING GAMES.

[> [> Re: E.T. Predictions -- Calhoun, 09:55:01 12/22/08 Mon

Don't forget the Texas HEAT! All those cars that ran in the bottom 20's and in the teens were all running mid 30's and some in the mid 40's and 50's. Point being you are going to have your fast cars next year and then you are going to have your consistant cars. I raced all season last year and watched the fastest cars blow there tires off during the hot summer day races. Sure everyone is going to step it up this season to compete with the fast et's of 08 season during the later cold months. The question is will those fast cars and the people building there cars to be faster this season put up those et's in the heat of the 09 season. Should be intresting I CAN'T WAIT!!

What will be the quickest E.T. for the 09 season. -- COACH, 07:12:01 12/17/08 Wed

I really think you guys are scared to answer this question. Don't be shy, let the E.T. Fly. they are only numbers to be broken. Now at the end of the year this post will be archived to post again, to see who was the closest to the number. Maybe we all can pitch in and buy that person a Steak dinner. the second guy a hamburger with cheese.
I will start it off.

Unc want the whole enchilada, with grilled chicken, saying that he's going to run the number. Man that powerful speed there, Riggins is not going to like that, since he's been the E.T. breaker King lately. Haven't heard from the Riggins crew. Anybody else want to try for the Big meal at the end of the season.

But im not one to talk shit until I can back it up. All im going to say is 900hp NA for a SBF aint to bad. Especially when its built to run on the jug only

Just stepping on your toes a little, 4.98 would be out of the question in our class. But things are becoming possible these days. I would never think that we are going as fast with one power adder and a non backhalf car. We are now back dooring the OTTA guys that has the full house of power adders & ultimate backhalve cars.
I am looking for things to be very exciting next year.
TO BEAT SOMEBODY, YOU GOT TO BE THERE........
I NEED MORE E.T. NUMBERS RECORD BREAKERS.

Hey we are not gonna try to break any records in the 2009 season , just looking to be consistent and win rounds . Now we will step it up to win if we have to [ NO MATTER WHO IS IN THE OTHER LANE ] and if the record gets reset , then so be it . Until then , guys/girls , looking forward to the
'09 race season so be safe and have a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!!

Who will need crutches next year?

I am hearing IF YOU CAN'T HANG WITH THE BIG DOGS. GO SEE YOUR NITROUS DEALER OR STAY ON THE PORCH.

The turbo guys are saying THIS SUCKS, but we are glad we don't have to become a pill head to go fast.

The non power adder guys are saying, You guys can suck and down pills all you want, we only do what comes natural.

Unc, when the chief comes he needs to brings some indians with him, we know it will be a fight to the finish. Hurricane Ike took all the porches for the little dawgs to sit on, so they got to get out there and protect the yard. Little dawgs got big bite. No matter how you look at it, IT HURTS....

I am beginning to see that there will not be any body sitting on the porch. I am going have try to get off on fridays to come up dallas to watch the payroll come back to Houston. Unc my guys very hungry down here, They like Indian soup. Lets start a score board to show which way the money went that weekend, North, South & Center (Austin) That mean a couple of you guys from up North need to make it down, and the same from hear. We got to watch those Center Guys they are quiet.

Also purchase a trophy for the most wins at the end of the year. I believe this will keep things exciting.

Don't forget our Texas Vs the World, Race, we are expecting everyone from both classes to fight off the world.

TO BEAT SOMEBODY, YOU GOT TO BE THERE..

Finally the Finals is over......... -- Coach, 20:59:40 11/30/08 Sun

As I said earlier on the message board that the Clash race was going to be interesting. I don't have the times because wasn't my job this weekend to keep up with but there on the starting line watching doing my regular duties of getting in the way.
Starting at the top in Super Street. the OTTA team
Justin (Bad Boy) Curry, showed his superior combo and new car will be the man to watch next seaon by winning the Super Street and the OTTA guys now know who's their daddy is
True Ten Five, short on car count, but was there to get it off anyway. Congratulation to Chad Smallwood, on his Championship with the Clash, and runner up. Threesome on the same engine, I know the tongue is hanging out now say please rebuild me.
And also to Angel Padilla, of San Antonio. being the winner of TT5. The guys are looking forward for you to come join us next year in the U/S races next year.
Not to forget Trevor Stripling came out to trying to make things happen in his 67 camaro. Went out with a back fire on the line. But he gave it his all.

CHEAP STREET WINNER, Congratulation to Ben Frazier. First time in competition this year. Still plaque with bugs, the turbo (F-22)Stang and was last year champion of the class showed that he was back. Letting the cat out of the bag, he's steppin up to TT5 next year. The new upgrades will not allow him to compete in the class next year.

The word on the street.... -- Sekrut Spy, 21:48:24 11/26/08 Wed

Chad Smallwood says he's the top dog and there's only enough room for one "CHAD" in Ultimate Street!  He's got plenty of chain to drag Chad Baker down the track to prove it.

Chad Baker is a pretty quiet guy...all he would say is that he's got a surprise waiting on Smallwood.

We trying not to go to a sign on message board. But if this persist it will be our next move to do so. We are trying to take care of business here to get things in place. The committee members only is having there first meeting this week to go over the rules and other things of importance of this class to get it on the right track. Nothing is set in stone as of this post. Our rules that are posted at this time or still in effect until the committee make a change. So stay tune in, be patient, keep your signed post coming.
I will repeat again. ANY PERSON THAT MADE A CONCERNED POST THAT DIDN'T SIGN THERE NAME, THAT POST WILL NOT BE CONCIDERED FOR DISCUSSION. IF YOU LEAVE YOUR EMAIL WITH THE SIGN NAME, WE WILL SEND YOU A SIGN UP INFO SHEET TO FILL OUT AND YOU ARE TO SEND IT BACK ASAP. Chad,
All im saying is let me come out and give it a shot. My combo is by far not going to be the fastest and I will take the weight penelty and as for making as much power as a 632 mine sure as hell dont and it makes great power. Just please keep me in mind. I have already lost one class to these rules. I dont want to lose another

No doubt about it Yates heads have alot of potential. Look at BG or Dustin Newborn. But I dont know of a Yates motor making 1000-1100 hp NA and I know alot of 632s that do. So that being said. I believe a Yates style combo should be legal untill proven otherwise. I dont care if I lose first round every race. I JUST WANT TO BE PART OF A ORGANIZATION. Thats it. Hell my combo even going to be stock suspension on a 28 10.5 with a plate for goodness sake. Unc didnt even give me the time to discuss my combo. Just told me NO and I accepted his anwser. But U/S is what im focused on now untill they say I cant run. I hope that day will not come

Thanks for the space

BG, run @ 2400 / 2500 lbs. with a four link type back half car, how are we comparing an outlaw car to an TTT5 / U.S type car. that going to be weighing @ 3200 lbs. on stock maybe ladderbars. if ladderbar on the u/s rule he would have to weigh @ 3250 lbs, with one kit, not multiple kits. where will he make more power than an 632 cu.in

If car count is what you guys are looking for, which I think it is, you should welcome someone like this. Allowing one more person to run is only going to help your organization grow. On the other hand if a a certain combo starts to " run the table " I should only hope that a penalty of some sort be in order. I also want to applaud Coach, Chad Baker, and the rest of the commitee for hearing Barnett out and commenting on the issue, NOT shutting him down with " it is a dead issue !". It shows that you really want your organization to grow.

If you are not careful, US will run right up the rear if LS and tracks don’t like to pay for the same hamburger twice, nor do the fans. Just remember, don't look at what you have, look at the potential because there will always be somebody out there that will get the most potential out of what the rules say and then what are you going to do? Just some food for thought for the new committee.

Unc I appreciate your opinion. But were was it 3 months ago when TTT5 changed this very rule and I asked WHY?. All you said and I quote your very words. THIS IS A DEAD ISSUE. Didnt even give me a chance. You know it is very easy for you to change a rule over night. But for me an average guy I cant change my car over night. When I started my car 2 years ago THIS RULE WAS LEGAL and this was the combo I decided on. If im not legal for TTT5 thats ok its your decision. But last time I looked this ULTIMATESTREET.US

As for the weight breaks on oem valve angle heads in extreme, that will read 23 degree sbc or 20 degree sbf deduct 200lbs. so a 400c.i. car with oem angle heads would weigh 2900lbs.

[> Trevor was never called a cheater -- Bonnie, 21:57:45 11/24/08 Mon

I don't think than anyone on this side of the fence has ever called Trevor a cheator. The issue that is upsetting Trevor has nothing to do with cheating. It is a miscommumication by all parties in relation to points. They have be recounted in 3 different ways according to 3 different interpitations. So the problem is which person had the correct information..... But each time they were recounted, it did not put Trevor in 1st place which he had expected. This is not any one persons fault but is something that the whole organization needs to learn from. It was unfortunate that the decussions got heated prior to resultions and feeling were hurt and toes were felt to be stepped on but the end result was the same so there was no need to change the system that had been used all year and move everyone else around out the position they were setting in due to the fact that is where they had been all year. Trevor was never referred to as a cheater in this organization. I was a human error that turned into watergate....but changing it to make one person or the other happy was not going to change the end result. Story closed

Okay Racers, subjects of the week. -- coach, 23:35:18 11/23/08 Sun

Under this post please bring your concerns about these rules. Remember this, everyone must sign your name for this concern will go across the committee. If you think they are good, say so. If you have a problem, state a good reason why,and we love facts if possible.

POWER ADDERS:

N20: Any Single stage Fogger or Single stage Plate only. Additional systems must be disconnected & capped-off. Progressive controllers & timers OK.

Turbo: Small block only, max 88 MM turbo inlet. Air to liquid intercooler allowed. Measurement will be a 1/16th of an inch away from the compressor wheel. If it measures more that 88 MM or if the leading edge is more than a 1/16th away from the compressor wheel then the turbo is illegal. NOTE: Turbo inlet must be accessible for size verification. No exceptions

Supercharger: Small block only, single F2 or D3 supercharger air to air or single F1 with water/air.

I am adding this one to this listing also. from a post down below from TTT5.

There will only be a couple changes in Extreme Street. Nothing major. Nitrous bottles will be limited to a single 15 pound bottle and 15* degree SBC heads will not be allowed. OEM valve angle heads for 23* SBC and 20* SBF will get a weight break

At the TTT5 meting on Saturday Cedric indicated that a SB 15 degree head is comparable to a Yates and SB2. That is not the case and the 15 degree heads should be allowed. Hopefully this will be clarified and corrected.

Sure hope you dont change your rules to the ttt.5 stuff. They have way to many head rules and dont keep up with the new heads coming out on the market. That does hurt their car counts. Your rules are easy to tech. Keep them the way they where. The Dallas ttt.5 guys should change to your rules. Join together and keep the rules you had in 2008.

THE COMMITTEE IS NOW TAKING NOTES -- COACH, 01:26:55 11/22/08 Sat

Okay classmates we are now taking notes on everyone concerns, keep it coming. As you see TTT5 has spoken on some of there endeavors for there season.
They will be having their meeting this weekend and some of them will be put in place.
We are also taking in what ever is delivered our way. Keep in mind there are a lot of new guys out there that has not race in a series before and we want to welcome them with open arms. Guys when you read some one post, please read with understanding, some of us do have hard times in explaining themselves when they are asking questions and expressing their concerns on the rules. Try to bring facts to your opinion, this will help in a lot of ways than you think. Don't be scared to sign your name, this is very important, for the committee to take your concern or opinions to concideration. If your name is not sign with your post, it will not be concidered. We do not have time for going thru a question or concern, cause every one on this committee has jobs and time is valuable.
Bonnie is our planning advisor, she will be monitoring our website to see how things are going, so she can keep plans schedules in the works.
Bringing rules to Bonnie is not going to get you what you want. She will direct you to the committee to get your answers. She has enuff on her plate to worry with this.
The committee is here to serve the racers and to keep order and fairness to the class. No one committee person is never to make a decision by himself.
We are moving in the right direction for 2009. We are now moving into being an organization, and we are going to run it like one.
TO BEAT SOMEBODY, YOU GOT TO BE THERE.

TTT5 end of year banquet and get together -- Unc, 19:21:57 11/21/08 Fri

Tomorrow, Saturday November 22nd we are having our awards banquet and get together here in DFW at Martinez Restaurant on Gross Rd. in Mesquite. All are invited to attend. We will have fajitas and the fixing's @ $5.00 per person buffet style in a separate room in the restaurant. We will have an open discussion about both classes with most of the focus on True Street. We have to do something in that class to get the car count up. There will only be a couple changes in Extreme Street. Nothing major. Nitrous bottles will be limited to a single 15 pound bottle and 15* degree SBC heads will not be allowed. OEM valve angle heads for 23* SBC and 20* SBF will get a weight break if I remember right from our 2 committee conference calls and the plus or minus 3 degree's will go to plus or minus 2 degree's. We don't have our complete schedule yet other than the 3rd Friday at Kennedale, every other month starting in April on the 17th. We do have a commitment from Denton in March, however Denton is working on their schedule as I type and we don't know anything beyond that. Also we will have some races at the new track, Dallas Raceway in Crandall, but we don't have any dates at this time. As soon as we have a schedule we will post it here and on out site.

Also the weight penalty for ladder bar cars has been dropped in TS. Also motor plates will be alowwed but you still have to have motor mounts. The weights will stay the same. ..........click to read on.......... -- Unc, 18:41:30 11/22/08 Sat

I already listed the changes in Extreme except for a true 88 mm turbo, not the 98/88 or the 91 with a sleeve, but a true 88mm weighs in at 3250 instead of 3350. That's about it. The fajitas were excellent and we had a good turn out of about 45 people or so.

2009 season -- Bonnie, 12:13:08 11/19/08 Wed

Coach, for the last 3 days I have been or at least tried to be on the phone setting up meetings for the PRI show in Orlando Flordia in December. I have been putting together sponsorship packages so that I can get them printed for PRI. I wish I could snap my fingers or wiggle my nose and give everyone the answer they are looking for. If I don't get my work done and get my ass out there and sell this series, then guess what..."WE" have no intention of running a series next year that "WE" have to pay for out of our personal pockets again. So all of you racers need to figure what "YOUR" plans are and what you want for next year so that "WE" can try and make it happen. You show up and race. "WE" do not have any more time for this petty drama this week.

Just so you know Jeff Miller; Every time Tracie see's your car she always says "That is a beautiful car" and when you were told to get your shit out of the way; We could not risk you leaking on the track with temptures droping and I yelled to get the Shit of the way when you were blocking the ambulance, and we could not make anymore passes until you moved, you were holding up the race. It was a figure of speach and not meant to call your car a peice of shit.

If you want to race next season...

Who are you?

How many cars do you have?

How far are you willing to travel?

Who is willing to step up and solve the problems when they come up, because ... Bonnie and Tracie can't do it all?

We have to make commitments to tracks sponsors and spectators

What commitments are you willing to make to us?

You want to speak out, then speak out about what we need to be talking about which is "NEXT YEAR" not yesterday.

The balls in your court. I need to hear from you.

r u guys really going to let bonnie talk like that to u and then bow down to her...since when is making sure the points are calculated right "petty drama ", then she tells u to speak out but only speak out on what she gives a shit about, "You want to speak out, then speak out about what we need to be talking about which is "NEXT YEAR" not yesterday."

bonnie, u r wrong in the way u handled the points deal, that was not right and if i was trevor i would noy run another one of your races and would tell u to kiss my ass.

its not all about bonnie, its about the races and if u dont treat them with respect then u will be like joe..no racers..i for one would never attend your race...i have never met u but from the things i have read on hear (mostly your post) i dont care to meet u...u r another joe golden

[> [> The rule and Points are not my issue. I tried to help -- Bonnie, 17:43:12 11/22/08 Sat

Ultimate street and OTTA are responsiable for the rules. It is my job to get them a track to get them funding and to run the race smoothly. You just want to finger point. I am trying to get them headed in a successful direction. You are correct, you do not know me and the feelings you vent are mutual. I tried to help Trevor, but he wants to pick and choose what is good for him. If he wants everything per OTTA then he missed Texas Vs the World which puts him another POINTS race behind. No matter what we do, he still did not get 1st place which is all this is all about. Sorry but I am not just going to give it to him because he crys the loudest. What would that be saying to the other racers.

We are working on a plan to prevent this in the future and that is the best I can do. I am not going to take the blame for all the bad Drama going on. I know you think it is my fault but guess what? I was never involved in the rule makeing other than posting the information provided to me. I did create the points system and I did not create the rules. I am not the decission maker in either case I am only the whoopin Post.

I thought I was doing something nice for the racers by provideing them a trophy and ring out of my personal pocket due to the fact they never paid a members fee and I gave them 100% of the tech card money and a $1000.00 extra of my personal money so they could grow. So to keep attacking me for something that you do not understand is stupid.

I am trying to help them. I promiss you that I have many other opertunities that I could take advanatage of and make quite a bit of money from but I have tried to help Texas (Houston specifically) so if this is a bad thing then so be it, I don't know what else I can tell you.

THE FINALS IS FINAL FOR 2008 -- COACH, 15:22:25 11/16/08 Sun

After a short sleep this morning and some praise with God at church this morning.
I first want to CONGRATUALTE Chad Smallwood for all the efforts and support that he has given the U/S Class this complete year. Winning the championship, I know that was part of your dream to come true again this year. I've have seen your sportmanship toward the class, and put a lot of effort towards this. You have live the class motto, YOU GOT TO BE THERE TO BEAT SOMEBODY, AND TO BECOME THE CHAMPION. I know the guys are giving the porps for driving the distance that you drive each race and racing all the venues that you are apart of. We all know who the finger will be pointed at when you come thru the gate of a race next year. So keep up the good work.

Next I want to congratulate Trevor Stripling, on his winnings of the finals, and reseting his own E.T. record to 5.1425 @140 mph. The numbers are flying record high with your combo. Your long work and effort has come a long way to the end. Coming from a 5.40 to an high of 5,teens is amazing.

Looking foward to be working with you guys next year.

TO EVERYONE ATTENTION FOR THE RACE ON NOVEMBER 15th FINALS -- COACH, 17:31:08 11/11/08 Tue

Our invitation to Texas True Ten Five, to run at this Points race is allowable for them to run at there Class rules only. This orgainization is not in the point system but will inhance the growth of the points that will be ran for during this final race. Meaning that TTT5 MEMBERS are racing for the purse money that is being presented which is $2200. if there is 16 cars present to enter this race at the completion of qualifying. If there is not 16 cars at the final qualifying session the winners purse will resume back to $1200 to win, and to the runner-up I (Coach) will still honor the M/T tires.
To run for points completion at this race you must be under the Ultimate Street rules, which giving you the chance to run for the winner's purse and championship at these finals.
Our first qualifiying run is @ 1:00 pm
When I tech you in I will ask you if you are running for the Cash or the Points system championship so that I can keep up with your points during the race, so that we can crown a champion at the completion of the race, and a winner of the purse.

Guys get there early for tech:
Tech: I am inspecting under hoods, truck area, nitrous compartments & turbos, for compliance to the rules of the U/S class. Please be ready to answer any questions that can come up about your car.

After qualifiying session is over and we move on into eliminations. We will have a class drivers meeting before elimination starts. At this meeting we will discuss pairing, and tech again before each run.

I would like to see everyone at the scales 15 minutes before each Q-session run. Our timely manor will be helpful to the schedule.
NEW RULE IS ENFORCE: At pairing during elim. The two that is paired together will do a visual check before they proceed to the scales. If anyone denies a check, they will eliminate themself from the competition. You are not there to take the guys car apart, but to feel comfortable about your component. I feel this will eliminate uncomfortable feeling about the person you are paired. If any one disaggree with this rule, please bring it to the message board now. As of now this is final.

M/T/ ROLLOUT, -- COACH, 13:23:33 11/04/08 Tue

LATE THERE HAS BEEN ALOT OF TIRES PURCHASED WITH BAD ROLLOUT ON THEM, GUYS START CHECKING YOUR TIRES AFTER PURCAHSE. THIS CAN BECOME DANGEROUS.

ROLLOUT...
Checking rollout means measuring the circumference of your tires. Rollout greater than 1/2" will push the car off line. The car will pull to one side when you accelerate or when you lift off the throttle. The faster you go or the greater the rollout diference, the greater the problem becomes.
The maximum acceptable rollour tolerance is 1/2" with both rear tires at the correct inflation pressure, measure the circumference with a tape measure. Best use is a ribbon tape, from mama's sewing box. Subtract the two reading to obtain the rollour difference.

Example reading: Left Rear = 101.5" Right Rear 101.0
Rear tire rollout = 1/2" or .5

1. Place the tire on an table or stand.
2. Add air to the tire until the gauge reads 20 psi.
3. Let out air until there is down to 5 psi.
4. Wait about 60 seconds, then measure the circumference.

Press Release: OTTA has been invited to a test Session on Feb 27- March 1 at HRP, This will include IHRA, NHRA and ADRL, TOP Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock. -- Bonnie, 10:06:47 11/04/08 Tue

First annual Spring Stampede Preseason Test Session Feb. 27- Mar. 1 at Houston Raceway Park presented by WWW.DRAGRACEHOSE.COM

Baytown, TX- Officials for Houston Raceway Park today announced the first annual Spring Stampede Preseason Test Session presented by DragRaceHose.com which will take place Feb. 27-Mar. 1, 2009, at Houston Raceway Park in Baytown, Texas. Organizers expect race teams in the NHRA, IHRA, and the ADRL sanctions to participate in this preseason test to tune their hot rods for the 2009 season.

Houston Raceway Park benefits from incredible atmospheric conditions because of its proximity to Trinity Bay, which feeds the facility cool air.

“During this off season we are going to grind our concrete launch pad to ensure we have the smoothest racing surface possible. The track will be in tip-top shape for the ground pounding 8,000 horsepower machines that need ideal track conditions,” said track GM Seth Angel. “We know that the ADRL will open its 2009 season here, the NHRA O’Reilly Spring Nationals are set for March 27-29th, and this test session will allow everyone a chance to fine-tune their set-ups both for our race and the upcoming season.”

Houston Raceway Park is also scheduled to host two NHRA South Central Division events, May 15-17th and July 24-25th.

Sportsman racer Will Hanna, owner of DragRaceHose.com and webmaster for the popular sportsman websites InsideTopAlcohol.com, InsideCompRacing.com and InsideFastBrackets.com, has worked closely with the track to organize the event.

“With the schedule falling the way it does next year, this is a perfect combination of schedule, venue and conditions,” stated Hanna. “Usually the Division 4 schedule kicks off in late February or early March, but they have pushed that back this year, so it will make it easier for the local teams to get ready to test. It’s the week after the Phoenix NHRA national, so the Pro teams will be on their way from Phoenix to Gainesville, Fla. So it’s right on the way for them. Not to mention, its right before the ADRL season opener here at this track.

“Having experience myself with high horsepower cars, it’s very difficult to find the right conditions to test and actually learn something,” Hanna continued. “Without having a decent amount of high horsepower cars going down the track, it’s hard to duplicate race day type conditions. That won’t be our problem with this event. There will be plenty of cars and great conditions. I’m proud to have my company, DragRaceHose.com’s name associated with it.”

Top Fuel Dragster and Nitro Funny Car Teams:

More Money for OTTA - 2nd chance race November 15 at Evadale -- Bonnie and Tracie, 18:25:23 11/02/08 Sun

Subject: More money for the OTTA final points race

2nd chance race added to OTTA for the Grand Finale on November 15, 2008

We would like to give something back to all the guys that have came out and supported us all season but ended up on the bottom part of the ladder.

For the final points race we will add a 2nd chance race.

The payout is
$1000.00 to the Winner
$ 500.00 to the Runner up

This will be for 1st round losers and Non Qualifiers.
If you qualify in the top half 1-8 of the field you can not participate in the second chance race.

You will still get you funds for the first race, this is just a little something extra to say Thank You from the High Velocity Team for supporting us all season. Over the last few races we have seen some killer numbers pop up in the 4.70 range. We do not want racers who may not be able to run those types of numbers to loose interest so we are looking for a way to keep everyone happy and participating for next season. We don't want to slow our front runners down and we don't want to run anyone off. We want to grow bigger and better. This is a last minute fix for the end of this season but I assure you that we will come up with a solutions that will be a happy mix for next season.

So tune those cars and get ready for the finals November 15, 2008 at Ben Bruce Memorial Raceway in Evadale Texas.

See you at the races

Bonnie and Tracie

GOT TO BRING THIS UP. (E.T.) -- COACH, 16:20:03 10/29/08 Wed

A lot of classes are having E.T. issues and I have heard from a few racers, that they wasn't fast enuff, to stay up with the high E.T.'s that has been presented in the last few months. We are getting faster. As we can see now that our record is an 5.16 @ 140 mph. In which I feel that it will be broken next year as technology progresses for a single power adder car on stock suspension. As Bonnie suggested we need to look at this issue.
First I would like to look at a 2nd chance class. Right now it is still hard to break up unstable e.t. class at this time, untill we grow more cars in the class.
Lets take on some suggestions for next year. Like we all do know this will make some guys sit at home instead of coming out to race. To help us guys, we will never know who you are, unless you come on out to race with us and get these issues solved. Making a double class of 8 is still like having 16.

COACH, CAN YOU RECAP THE E.T.s THAT ACTUALLY WON EACH RACE? I THINK YOU WILL ALL BE SURPRISED. THE FASTER CARS RARELY WIN. THE CONSISTENT CARS USUALLY WIN. THE FASTER CARS ARE USUALLY PUSHING THE LIMITS AND ARE PRONE TO MAKING MISTAKES. OUR TEAM IS FOCUSING ON CONSISTENCY NEXT YEAR AND HOPE FOR A FIRST WIN. RECORDS COME AND RECORDS GO, BUT WINS LAST FOREVER.

AS COACH SAYS, YOU CAN'T WIN IF YOU AIN'T THERE. GET THERE.

Good strategy Trevor! I won my first win this year on a consistent car and have went to finals and semi-finals all year on consistancy.

We are gonna do the same next year just not have to spray as much freaking nitrous! Holy 40 jets are crazy no need for all that.

[> [> [> Re: Thanks Trevor & Chris -- Coach, 07:03:17 10/30/08 Thu

Consistantcy, & the main thing is being there, is what accumulate points, and a few wins. Having a complete field is the most advantage of getting points, better than 6 to 8 cars.
I ask this question before, what do you all think that the E.T. range will be in this class next year, to be competitive that works with consistantcy? I am thinking of 5.28's to 5.50's.

[> [> [> [> Re: One more thing to add. -- Coach, 07:19:07 10/30/08 Thu

Remember one thing, we have been using an all run field, this has been used as an 2nd chance. If we got 20 or more cars this will put us at an 24 field ladder. So this actually give you a chance to stay in the race, get some more points, you might have found that problem that plaqued you during qualifying, or even a chance to win the race.

I think the et for consistantcy will be the same as next year. I think a 5.50 car that goes down the track every pass and cuts a great light will always have a chance in making it to the final.

Attention Ultimate Street Racer -- Bonnie, 10:42:54 10/28/08 Tue

This has been an exciting year for us and it looks like our finals on November 15, 2008 is getting more exciting every day. The finals will have a bigger payout, will be given double points and the points champion will recieve a championship ring persented by the High Velocity Team.

I am attaching a moch up of the ring that is being cut. But the drawing does not do justice for the ring.

So come on out all you racers to Evadale November 15,2005 and lets end the 2008 Ultimate Street championship finals with a great event.

I think we cracked the tail housing and trans case on Pure Evil with the hard landing and didnt know it. We had a match race to do, figured if we had oil pressure we were good, but it shreaded the front u-joint.

The 5.52 was our first pass with a new converter and beadlocks. 1.30 60' foot 2 times in a row(very un-usual for us)lol

The wheely pass was 1.36 on the back tires, not sure what that would be on all 4's, but tha ol' girl was on a pass!

Still a long way from Chads 5.40 or Trevors 140mph.

Congrats on the win and the record Chad!

From the OTTA Board, Race Tracks are calling wanting to book us for next year. -- Coach, 16:09:09 10/23/08 Thu

Question, of concern,
1. How many races this year? one a month, two a month.
2. In town races? Hrp, Evadale, Angelton, LoneStar(Sealy)
3. Out of town races. Navasota, PineValley, Louisiana, and maybe farther...
I would say lets spread them around and make one or two of them our home tracks. This will keep our exposure going to different areas.

[> Re: My $.02 -- Ben...Again, 16:11:05 10/23/08 Thu

1 - one a month... that way it gives time inbetween races to make repairs/maintenance.

2 - Definitely throw some in-town races.
I was just talking to Coach about some ideas for tracks. Some ideas to kick around...HRP, Evadale (of course), Angleton, Navasota just re-opened..maybe they will be worth looking at for next year, Pine Valley near Lufkin(1/4 mile track, so plenty of shut down), SAR. I don't know how far out of the Houston area you're willing to consider.
Personally I don't care for Sealy. With the history of the current owner, he could pull the plug on our race the day before...and w/out justification...and to have a race there would require that he actually spray and drag the track.

If you are smarter than Coach, why don't you find the two kits and point it out to every one. I seen Coach always checking these guys hood, even mind several times when he's walking around checking up on every one. I hear there has been a bitch about the two bottles on serveral people cars, and he only had one on it. after the 140 pass. TTT5 had not found him running two kits and they check him all the time. This guy had been running 139 to 140 all year. Why don't you relieve Coach of being the tech guy and you become the tech guy I think that he will love that. Scaling the cars, gettting the guys to the line. Keeping the stats. I bet nobody want his job. Then getting bitch at about other racers think they are cheating. OMG

First of all, I appreciate who ever it was that was trying to take up for me. It is true that I am very busy trying to keep everyone ready for there next round.
I am beginning to beleive that everyone is loosing there trust in every one that they run with. I would like all complaints be brought to this board so that it can be settle that we can move on. I have been pushing for a commitee to come on board to help solve some of these matters and tech guys and guru's that they can find things like this. I am hoping that every racer that runs in this class have no problem to raise their hood in the last minute before a pass in the staging lanes before the run. If this it what it needs to come to this will take me off the chopping block, that I didn't check every round. I would like every one that has to race with each other please visualize each other so they can feel comfortable, before they win or loose to this person. Or look at it this way. for now on. during qualifing it shouldn't be a personal matter. but during elimination before the round begin, the two person inspect each other before they get to the line. Close there hoods and bring themselves to the scales. If you fail to check, it will not be my or the other racers faught. I feel everyone in this class has very good knowlege of power adder systems. In my book everyone is a tech guy in this class.
I feel that if anyone disaggree on the two racers inspection before a elimination run they should discard themselves from this class. If this person or persons are still repeating the same ET and MPH. after inspection, I think the rest of you need to get this person or persons to teach school on going fast. If it was me I would charge for the knowlege.

I want to thank the guys that showed to the TEXAS vs World race amd making this happen. I felt everyone had a good time. Especially Chad Smallwood and Chris Calhoun. Winner & runner-up.

When you don't give a name, but you inspect everyone to believe you. It becomes bull crap real quick.
Every racer that races in this class knows each other very well. If a person can not post there name on this board after his view or concerns, will be wasting there time. I would not believe a person that can't post his or her name. I am hoping every one aggree. or do we need to go to a logon board.

[> [> [> Chad was not cheating I just want to clear this up so it stops here! -- Calhoun, 11:05:17 10/19/08 Sun

For the record so we can put this to sleep. Chad Smallwood was not cheating. Chad caught wind of this speculation of him cheating and asked me and Ben to come take his hood off and look at his car after the pass at the trailer. The car was pulled back to the trailer and hood was never raised( parked right next to me). He pulled the hood and stood back and let me and Ben check his car. Second stage of nitrous eletrical was unplugged and the solinoids were capped. Chad and his crew have got there combo working and have produced 139 -149 mph every race. We have raced with him the whole season and you can not have a better group of people to race with. They stumbled upon a tune last night in the final round that gave them a 1.18 60' Congrats guys YOU HAVE IT GOING ON! To clear this up he was not cheating I saw it with my own eyes. Coach you are doing a great job with what you have to work with. This is the first season of Ultimate Street and the next season will be even better and with a committee to enforce rules and tech to the fullest. Keep up the good work and we will see you at the next one!

Thanks Calhoun for updating everyone. I just wanted to let anybody know that if they think I’m cheating feel free to come look at my car in the pits or at anytime because I don’t cheat. I leave the hood off majority of the time while I’m at the race track and will always be happy to lift the hood if need be. As for the 1.18 60ft it had to be a computer glitch. I tripped the top bulb when I was staging, and that might have had something to do with it. I just really thank it sucks that someone would post this with out confronting me at the track. Everybody knows I’m a real easy going guy and will share any info I have about my car, tune ups or any of my success this year. If it wasn’t for people like John Dinkel, Billy Stocklin, and Randy David helping me over the years by answering my questions about there cars and success I would not be were I am with the car today. Thanks to everybody this year for racing in ultimate street and I hope more come out next year it will be a great class to race in.

[> [> [> [> [> [> Re: Thanks again for you guys response so far, -- Coach, 07:51:12 10/20/08 Mon

Racing is a passion, you must like it, to enjoy it. This class has come a long way in getting started. I will never point a finger at anyone until you are caught in action. So the ones that are reading this, CHEATERS BEWARE... I pray all the time, hoping that acursation like this would never come up in this class or any of the U/S racers get caught some other venue doing the wrong thing. Getting caught will hunt you for ever and get the finger pointed at you when coming thru the gate, the power of the internet will tear you down with in a hour of posting the wrong doing of a racer. I look at these guys as professional in there own manner to get the job done.
I give props to Chad Smallwood and crew, they have showed there professionalism very well this year. Chad, would tell you himself that I wear him out being under his hood all the time, and looking thru his car, it gets kinda old, but thats my job, but inspect that from me when you are the leader of the class. This guy tells me a lot of his secrets to his success and the guys that help him get there. So I will say this, for who ever bust out a new E.T. or MPH. look out the calvary is coming, you can get ready to take it apart, and at the end, please congratulate this racer, but sqeeeze him to get the secret.

I appreciate you guys that is apart of this race class, and keeping me on my toes. The economy has been a hurting factor to us this year, we are not a big budget class, and struggled alot this year to keep it going. We are all hoping that we see the loop hole for next year to get on a good start. Still our biggest concern is WHERE IS THE RACERS THAT WANTED THIS CLASS TO HAPPEN? If there are any issues we want to try to solve them, so that we can grow.
I am being told that this class is being loved very much, by the spectators and the track that we have been participated with. But with out racers that will go away.

TO BEAT SOMEBODY, YOU GOT TO BE THERE, NOT SITTING IN THE GARAGE..........
Thank you guys again,
