Subject: Restraining Order does not equal Divorce. She got that restraining order for Starr's protection. Todd was the reason why Starr went tumbling down that flight of wooden stairs. Todd was bat shit crazy. Blair had to look out for the children, but at the same time she wanted Todd to get his shit together. I am sure that if Todd changed his ways, Blair would have dropped the order. Blair hoped with this time and space he would realize it was wrong to terrorize children instead he decides to divorce her. Blair better be able to keep that 5 million dollars!!
In reply to: Cathy 's message, "Blair threw Todd out and took out a restraining order. I guess from that, he assumed she was saying their marriage was over. Who wouldn't assume that? She never attempted to talk to him later or tell him differently." on 13:49:28 06/25/08 Wed

She threw him out, told him to stay away from her and all three children, and told Dorian she would make sure he never had contact with the kids again. I know why she did all that, I just don't understand how Todd could think she still wanted the marriage. She never once said she did - to anyone, least of all to him! She never even attempted to meet with him alone and tell him what she was thinking. What else could he do at this point? -- Cathy, 04:50:16 06/26/08 Thu

[> [> [> [> [> [> Why was Blair suppose to meet with him alone and try for the 1,000,000th time to get through to him? Blair owes him nothing in fact she treated him with kid gloves for way too long. After that stairs incident, Blair had to kick Todd out and get the restraining order for the safety of the children. Was Blair suppose to keep him at Creme Brulee, keep telling how much she loves him, and hope he did not go after the children again. Blair thought giving Todd some tough love would make him snap out of his insanity, and start acting like the near 40 year old adult he is. -- sparklebarbie, 06:27:37 06/26/08 Thu

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> I never said Blair was supposed to keep him in the house. I get why she kicked him out. But why is she surprised that Todd filed for divorce? What else did she think he would do when she didn't want to see him or even talk to him? He had to break into the house to even have two words with her. How long should he have waited before filing? He couldn't read her mind. Surely even a creep like Todd can't hang around forever trying to intuit what his wife is thinking if she won't tell him. With no communication, he was left nothing but to assume Blair deemed the relationship over. -- Cathy, 07:36:47 06/26/08 Thu

I don't understand why Blair appears so shocked. Is it because Todd filed before she did?

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> ETA: If, as you suggest, Blair was still hoping the marriage could be saved, she would have done well to communicate this - if not in person, in writing, on the phone, or somehow. Otherwise, she gave the impression that she never wanted to see Todd again. I don't get why she's shocked. -- Cathy, 07:39:38 06/26/08 Thu
