Subject: I think when Blair said that while Starr was falling all she could think was that "she just wanted her baby to be alright" that says it all.

Blair is right she should have stopped Todd and now she sees it and she is just trying to be there for Starr. She already made enough mistakes. Right now the most important thing is the health of Starr and this baby. Blair is handling this situation exactly the way I would hope I would at this point. It is not an ideal situation but it is what their reality is right now and acting like her grandbaby is the curse of death is certainly NOT the answer. Todd could learn a few lessons from John about being a parent. I don't get anything about Todd these days and to be frank at this point I don't even care to try to. I am glad Blair called the cops on Todd. She has to let him know his abuse stops here. After Starr's door was shut and Blair leaned on the counter, you could see all the hurt, sadness, and worry in her face. This is not easy for her but she is doing the best she can with what she has. John saw that and I loved the he went over and just hugged her.

[> It broke my heart to see the pain Blair was feeling as Todd threw Starr. Then realizing how wrong she was to let Todd back into her and her childrens lives. She knows what she has to do and that would be end the madness with Manning once and for all. Blair did and will do what any mother would have done in her situation. Protecting and loving her children comes before any man -- Lena, 03:57:20 05/21/08 Wed

including the unstable twit she's married too. Blair will lovingly counsel Starr when the time is right but at this moment she needs to keep insane Todd away from the kids including Langston. I loved the way John knew exactly what Blair was feeling.

I see a strong Blair emerging and I'm very pleased. I had to stopped watching the past few years I couldn't stand what Todd has put her through convincing her she was a worthless whore in order to own her. It's one thing when you're a young and think loving a man will fix everything but Blair has grown and sees that Todd is too damaged for her to continue with. Going after his own children is enough! Everything he does is deliberate, he caused just about every probelm Blair has had with him. Time to free Blair from this weak minded Podd child-man forever.

[> It must tear a mother up inside when your own child won't come to with something so life altering all because they are afraid of you not because you will do something to them but because they believe that you would allow someone else to. Your own child would believe that you wouldn't protect them no matter what...that's a bitter pill... -- sluva, 04:52:16 05/21/08 Wed

I think it but be something awful to admit to yourself that there was something rotten going on in your home and you could have stopped it but you didn't for whatever reason. The children in her family were being treated poorly and she knew it and she didn't go all out to put and end to it as soon as possible. I don't fault Blair for trying to make peace...and for trying to keep her family together I never would... but at some point I know Blair knew she was in this by herself and before push came to shove her kids should come before ANY man....I'm glad Blair is able to see it for herself and admit it and try to step up and and make her children KNOW that they come first..when they are good and when they mess up and make mistakes big or small.

[> [> Kassie really conveyed how Starr's words were tearing Blair up inside. It was clear that Starr was not trying to hurt Blair with what she was saying, but the truth does hurt, and Starr was being honest. Blair really feels like she failed Starr as a mother over the these last few months so Blair is dealing with so much guilt right now, but I really think Blair&Starr will be OK now that Blair has kicked Todd to the curb. -- lucy, 07:31:25 05/21/08 Wed
