Subject: Beef Jerky

If any of you are interested in making some beef jerky at home and have not to this point you really owe it to yourself to try the recipe/technique that Randy has posted on his site.

I have made it several times and for me is the most satisfying item that I have cooked(dried).

Today I had the butcher slice up 5 pounds of eye of the round roast and I now have it soaking to be dried Monday morn.

It has so much flavour its incredible...much better than the stuff you buy in the stores and quite honestly some of the store bought stuff is damn good.

Its easy to make and if you can`t get your bbq to maintain 180º you can always use the oven instead, it still comes out wonderful and more evenly cooked in the oven, just no smoke flavor which is always nice on jerky.

If interested in the recipe, email me and I will send you the link to Randy'd site, much more than just jerky there to browse on as well.....great site from a real bbq fanatic with top shelf photos and descriptions......
