lot of ribs

yesterday was the big day for us (the BBQ Boyz) at the Angles Gate Winery grand opening. it was a beautiful but hot day and everything went off real well. cooked 98 racks of BB ribs, 275 chicken breasts and two sides. got to meet Elizabeth Baird from Canadian Living Cooks and another writer Sam Gugino from the Wine Spectator magazine out of California along with many other people. the owners were very pleased with our performance and have booked us for next year. who would have ever thought, true BBQ at a winery function. there were many many enquiries from other wineries and for private party caters.

BTW we have converted Elizabeth Baird to the low and slow method of smoke cooking, she has bought a WSM and is ready to jump in with both feet.
