Here's something to make envious and drool:
Tommorow we're celebrating my daughter's seventh birthday. The morning party is for kids and in the evening the adults are coming over.
I'm heading over to Shwartz's tonight to buy a 10 lb brisket with two loaves of their rye bread. I'll be steaming that baby for a few hours in the afternoon and serve Smoked Meat sandwiches for supper. For sides my wife, Pat, will make her famous cole slaw and I will marinate kosher pickles cut bite size in their brine mixed with cayenne pepper and horseradish overnight. Humma, humma...
