Subject: suggestions for side dishes please

I have my folks coming over for supper on Sunday and we plan on serving cabbage rolls and pork tenderloin.

For the pork tenderloin I`m going to cover them with fryed shrimp in garlic,salt,pepper,soy,worchestershire and a bit of curry powder...

Along with that I`ll have nice fresh crusty French or Italian bread but I need some side dish suggestions.

Any ideas???
Asparagus perhaps?
