Hi guys!

Let me jump in on this one and say that switching to briquettes in my bullet smoker was the best thing I ever did. I have always been a lump faithful, and remain so when it comes to grilling, but whenever I tried to use it for smoking I would have to always be preburning a small amount and messing with the firebox every 45 minutes or so. The briquettes can almost be left untouched throughout an entire burn with a little finesse on the vent controls.

BTW, if you're worried about fillers (I have used Kingsford etc. and never really noticed any difference myself), Royal Oak makes an all-natural briquette called "Royal Oak PLUS".
