Subject: One More Sleep

Good evening all,

Can't wait for tomorrow as I finally will fire up the Brinkmann for real. I have been working in the kitchen since coming home from work, making 2 batches of sauce, a fresh batch of rub, a tub o'cole slaw, chicken brine, and getting the brisket seasoned. As tired as I am, I'm too excited to sleep in anticipation of having a dozen or so friends over for a 'cue. I can almost smell it now !!!
I think to be safe, I'll do the brisket on the Brinkmann, but do the chicken on the old stand-by Meco. Did I mention the baked beans and beer ? Looks like I'll be sleeping outdoors tomorrow ! LOL
I'll let y'all know Sunday how things went.
