Subject: All Went Well

Afternoon all,

Judging by my hangover and dead soldiers littering the yard, I'd say that everything went fine yesterday. We had about 15 friends and neighbours over for a smoke-fest. It took a little time to get used to the Brinkmann, but once I got the timing down, it was a snap!

The brisket turned out wonderful, and very few leftovers remain. I ended up cooking 3 of the buggers for 9 hours over apple wood. Went through a few pounds of charcoal, but it was well worth it!! Even the electrically smoked chicken turned out great.(done them over hickory)

With all the smoked goodies, baked beans, coleslaw, pasta salad, and several dollars worth of beer, my tummy's just a wee bit upset with me at the moment, but can't wait till we do it all over again !!!
