hey guys, I made it home with the new cooker ok......it pulls real well and is nice and solid....
I had a bit of a snag at the border (Canadian side) with regards to the classification of the bbq.......seems as though they have never seen anything like this imported into Canada before and they didn`t know how to classify it without a VIN number.....It has a factory serial # but no VIN, I have to call customs canada tuesday to speak with my contact to discuss what they are going to do.......They were actually unsure whether I`m going to be able to keep and use it here due to the propane aspect of it.
Haveing said that, keep in mind that was determined by a customs officer at the border and we all know the attitude there!
Worst case scenario is that I have to export it back to the States........I`m thinking it might be the exposed burner pipe air mixers out the back end of the cooker that might be the issue, oh and maybe the propane tanks themselves...
I dunno, We`ll see what happens tuesday......I was going to clean and cure the inside of the cooker this morning but I`m going to wait to see what happens...

They are not sure whether I can use it at this point or not but charged me GST on it all the same.....Gotta love it!

Thanks for asking!
Mop!
