 My son uses Kurzweil 3000 and requests all of his books on PDF through the disability office at the college. This allows him to use Kurzweil to help him keep up with the volume without scanning the books. Almost all books are available on PDF through the publisher. The disability office has to request them through the publisher in PDF format for the student. It is recommended to do this early as sometimes it takes a few weeks.
