 Google "Richard Wanderman". He is a dyslexic who has learned many compensatory strategies. He used to be on the lecture circuit, and I've heard him speak many times. What a fascinating, intelligent individual he is! He is probably in his late 50's by now and grew tired of lecturing, traveling, etc. Read about him - he is a man of many talents, and he will respond to e-mails!
