I was so glad to read that somebody else shares the same feelings about the course!!!I'm a teacher too, and I find truth to every little detail I study in the book!In module three, reading about types of accomodation for dyslexics during examination procedures was of particular interest to me and discovering alternate ways to help dyslexic students was something I really enjoyed reading!Actually, oral testing is one of the most commonly used methods in my country, Greece.I've been an oral examiner myself, and I think it's particularly helpful in cases of dyslexic teenagers.Breaking the ice and making them feel comfortable enough is of great importance in order for them to reveal true knowledge on the examined subject without feeling embarrassed, stressed or uncomfortable to answer oral questions that demand ready to be expressed answers! It's on the part of the examiner to make examinees feel that he's there to assist them to proove their acquired knowledge and not to interrogate them.
