hi, i'm a person with dysleixa. and i just wanted to coment on a few of the things you said. do not take it as that i'm saying it meanly but firendly adives. when yuo said "dyslexia verses lack of interest. For example: Many have said this person is not interested because he rarely initiates contact with me(thus he is lazy)..." i know for me its hard to make that intalel contact to say hey lets got for pizza (expamle). whit me i like it when someone else says it and makes it happen becaues i am unsure of my self on what to do becaues how "normal people" (people with out a disablity) normaly act. that could be the problem he could feel that he is on the outside looking in.
"processing the details of everyday life. I've learned that he is a phone dork and doesn't know what to say on the phone" i think its cool that i'm not the only one that has that problem with things like that. (personal note: thanks for that information it makes me feel like i'm not alnoe or the only person with that type of prblome. thank you)
"I have found myself having to "invite" myself to do things, which is weird. He called me once on a Friday to say hi and ask what my plans were for the weekend. After I told him what few errands I had to do for the weekend, I thought maybe he would ask me to do something, but instead he said he had nothing else to say. It wasn't until after I suggested meeting him where he was going to be at did he say, "sure, come on over." And then we'd have a great time" i know when i call someone is for i can hear their voice and try to intichat something(like pizza example.) its hard enuff with the call, that i think that i'm taking your time up and so i dont ask you to do anything with. becaeus i don't want to put apound anyone about something. but this is just me.
"I can also call and leave a message with him and sometimes I hear back right away, and other times I won't hear back from him for 2 weeks, and then when I do hear from him, it's like the 2 weeks never even transpired." i think that is most people with dysleixa becaues i know that is what i do to but also i think it goes back to the how thing of putting apund someone.
