 Great site Old Sea Dog! Anything you need to know for sure. However, that age old experience really comes into play. Many of the small crafts were swamped and left for the surf to tear them apart. Huge amount of responsibility on the coxswain and under some very trying times they made it happen ... over and over again. I can only imagine the thoughts of them going in for the first time under fire, returning to the ship and then knowing what was there, having to go it again and again. Unsung heroes for sure.
