Thanks for the information. No doubt the book "Uncharter Waters" should be good reading for LST sailors and others interested in WWII.

It never ceases to amaze me of what these WWII veterans did after coming home from the war. It seems each and every one of them excelled in one way or another pouring themselves into making these United States better and better.
