 looking for any info on these two ships,My father Clayton Crandall was stationed on both.he was a seaman first class an entered service 3-16-44.i have pics of the 1045 as well as copies of ship log.the 1045 was commanded by William F Saunders LT.it was part of the 195,98 squadron group an part of the pacific fleet.
