and you're right, not all atheists are innocent. i've seen foul mouthed, ignorant god-haters try to pass themselves off as freethinkers(one of the terms atheists define themselves as). i find them offensive and somewhat silly.
as far as your quotes go, they're pretty good. but i don't believe the way i do because i WANT to. i don't think belief works that way. i'd love it if there was an all powerful deity who cared about what happened to me and took care of me. but nothing i've seen in 50+ years even indicates(much less proves) that such a being exists. i believe there's no god because i see no basis for such a belief(so what if i'm outnumbered by about 5 billion to one).
that's not an attempt at conversion, btw. just trying to reveal more of myself for better communication.
