Subject: Update on Meredith 2002 PPP Miss United States of America

Hello Ms. Bobbie!
Well, I am back from California..what an awesome time I had! I did the
taping for Port Charles
soap opera..saw some really cute actors...spent the day at the set at ABC. I
really could get
used to this!! I LOVE CALIFORNIA...also met Winona Rider coming out of a
store on Rodeo Drive..
which we walked up and down just about every day we were there...I
introduced myself to her
and she took my hands and told me I was so cute!! We talked about Savannah,
she has visited there before...she allowed a photo of us both...and she went
on her way. Mom and I were getting
a hair cut, and Tom Selleck walked in....I had to meet him too! He is very
handsome and TALL!He was very nice...also met Pauley Shore...the
actor/commedian. He asked for my cell number and
called me to go to this night club...but could not get in due to calif.
law..have to be 21 now!!
I was so...mad.... I took photos with him too, I couldn't believe he took my
number and called
me later on that night! I figure he must be in his 30's by now!!
I invited him to come to Savannah for St. Patricks day sometime. It is a
really big thing here.
Anyway, I made good contacts at ABC and will be going to the School for
Television and Acting school this summer in N.Y. The people at ABC in Calif.
told me to connect with ABC people in N.Y. since I now have done some work
for them. I told them in Calif I would be happy to be called back...the show
forPort Charles airs Sept. 10, or 11th. so watch both days~

I am the only one with a "date" behind the principal actors for 3 scenes.
It is the bar scene at club Elixir!

Hope the pageant went well for you...sorry to miss it but this was an
opportunity of a lifetime!
I am so happy I was able to go! Most of the extras are selected from the
Screen Actors Guild,
so Iwas told that I was pretty fortunate for someone to select me from my
Composite card out of
hundreds...

Anyway, back to school and ordinary life..
