Another month has come and gone.
Last night was the second meeting of the proposed OH-KY AVA chapter or OH-KY Voyagers.
After enjoying a satisfying dinner and catching up on news, we got down to business.
It was decided by all present at the meeting to move forward with the application process and form an official AVA chapter serving Ohio and Kentucky. The new chapter to be named the OH-KY Voyagers (Pronounced OK Voyagers)
Work to begin on a chapter identification logo.
So as to accommodate our current and future members who live throughout the Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky area, we will rotate the location of our meetings. Next meeting will be north of the Cincinnati I-275 loop. (See Location and date below)
Upcoming events:
We decided to volunteer our time as a group for a charity cause over the holidays. Bob suggested a service project for University of Cincinnati’s Serve Beyond Cincinnati which is a student organization which is raising money for a service trip to Alabama over spring break by gift wrapping at Barnes & Noble during the upcoming holidays. Robin and Bob will get the details about times and dates, so if you’re interested in helping, email Robin and Bob at rjrlusa@yahoo.com.
We will have a Tech Nite in January – date, time, and location to be determined.
Trip to the 27th Annual International Motorcycle Show in Cleveland weekend of January 25, 2008. If you’d like more information email Robin or Bob at rjrlusa@yahoo.com.
Trip to the Iron Pony and the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in Columbus – date to be determined, but if you’re interested in going email Robin or Bob at rjrlusa@yahoo.com.
RIDES, RIDES, RIDES! For all of you year around riders, let the rest of us know if you’d like some company for a ride you’re taking. Don’t worry if its short notice – sometimes you have to just grab those nice days when they come!
