This may work out very well in '08.
Normally, I go to a Beemer event in Branson, MO about mid-April with a local friend and frequently there has been a conflict with the HCT. However, for '08 they have scheduled the Branson get-together for the 4/25-27 weekend. So, the 4/18-20 scheduling for the HCT is great. I can possibly set-up and make both events.
In addition, the Navy ship I served on about a hundred years ago (that was just after those four mast thingies) has a reunion every two years. In Sept, '08 we're gathering in San Antonio and our day-long side trip is to the Nimitz Museum in Fredericksburg in the Hill Country. My wife and I are part of the organizing group for the reunions and the HCT will give me another opportunity to get more familiar with the surroundings.
Keep us informed where it's going to be held -- Brenda said the location is still unknown. I'll put it on my calendar and begin thinking along those lines.
