The other thing is the transition glasses never really get as dark as I like my sunglasses to be, and I also like them to be polarized. I got used to that from my days of bass fishing. You had to have polarized when out on the water. As you say personal preference. I don't find it a problem to switch back & forth. I keep my sunglasses or regular glasses in left saddle bag lid compartment or in the tank bag of my 650. The only time I ever use sunglasses is on the bike.
