Thanks for the information. On the map, it looks like there are a few State Parks in the general area but none between Johnson City and Blanco. I'll wait for the rally info to come out before deciding where to stay.
The Branson Beemer get-together is a motel type deal so I may just motel it at the HCT and not have to carry my tent and sleeping equipment. That will reduce the packing on the C-14.
