The 'sun shade' really does work great. Most of your motorcycle Dealers should carry the stuff. The kind I like, is just like what you see in new vehicles just behind the rear view mirror on the wind shield. Its a shade with holes in it so you can see through it great and still get the shade effect. Same stuff. You can use water and stick it to the shield. I like putting it on the inside of the shield so the outside is still smooth and washable at gas stops. What you need to do is set on your bike. While setting at your normal position take a small piece of tape and place it on your shield where you think you will get the most shade and still be able to see normal.
