 Sorry but I have to comment on the 'weather' concern. Aren't you guys being a little too concerned about the weather issue with the nav systems? You make it sound like it starts raining instantly without warning or any time to quickly snap the navigation system off it's mount and stick it in your inside pocket.

We rode over 15,000 miles this past summer and I guess I'm just lucky but we didn't get csught in the rain once. Now that I'm thinking about it, the last time we had to ride in the rain was when we were going to St. Ignace last year.

Also, how about this. If you're going for a ride and it looks like rain, don't put the darn nav system on the bike that particular day. Just because you have a nav system doesn't mean you have to use it every single time you ride do you?
