 I have a Garmin c530 that I use on my Voyager. I've had it for a couple of years, and have not had a problem with it. I've only had to do an 'emergency stop & stuff' once when I got caught in a thunderstorm in southern NM. I normally use it for long trips, but occasionally use it in town when I'm looking for an address. If it looks like rain, I leave it in my trunk and use a plastic-coated map.
For a mount, I used the stock mount on the 'top rear' of my stock trip computer. My 2c.
