Count, been there done that with just the right sound results. Cut off everything about a half inch behind the weld seam except the insde pipes coming out of the muffler(one real and one dummy).Leave these as is,get yourself 2 lengths of 3 inch chrome pipe . I like the slash tip.Cut to length as to how far out the back you want them ,slide them over the half inch lip you left on the chrome muffler part and put in a pop rivet on the inner side. You will gain that just a little bit nicer sound without the racy sound of the cobras. I can't post pictures but Chris has one he took at St. Ignace of my 94. Good luck
