HI PAL,
The SIGMA bicycle speedo only seems to be a fraction of time behing the motorcycle. Not nearly enough to worry about a ticket. Ever since I got my Voyager I was concerned about the speedo accuracy because of reports on this forum. I am not the best at mentally converting from metric to standard while going down the road. I didn't realize just how good I was at it until I installed the SIGMA. To be honest, now that I know my speedo is accurate I could do without the SIGMA. However it did do it's job and my piece of mind was worth the $30.00. A GPS, on the other hand, is a LOT more expensive. Probably should have just had someone follow me in a car LOL.
It would seem to me that once you verify your speedo's accuracy it would be just a matter of paying attention to it while riding. Unless you chip or loose gears, change tire/wheel size, or your speedo cable beaks I don't see how the speedo reading could become in-accurate. Someone else here would probably know better than me. For instance, there must be a reason why some Voyagers read slower. It would seem to me to be gear ratio??
