Another member told me to block off the lower intake scoops, take out the lower ducts, and block off the shark gill outlets on the fairing lowers (I used styrofoam and an electric carving knife to shape it and clear tape to hold it in (I hope that tape comes off ok in the spring)). It provides some heat especially riding in town or at fairly low speeds. It'll bake you on a warm day in town. At interstate speeds almost all the heat gets blown away. I just got a Widder vest and electric grips (probably Hot Grips) are my next investment.
