Great stuff, Chris.
How some shots at the Harley? I thought of some magazine ads for this.
How about a small pic of an Electroglide Ultra with the caption "ultra" under it. Then list some of the specs for the bike that the new Voyager surpasses. Then, on the opposite page (or just four times as large on the same page) have the new Voyager with the caption "ULTRA COOL" and the same specs listed as the Harley.
If the Voyager does better in the mpg department, you could do the same type of thing. Under the Harley "Not just Hog--GAS HOG" Then picture the Voyager with its mpg listed under the pic.
If Kawasaki keeps the price low, the same type of head to head comparisons can be made to Honda and Harley based on the price points.
Kawasaki tends to do things "one better" than the other manufacturers when competing in the same market segment. When they brought in the 750 Zephyr (inline 4), it was a direct competitor to the 750 Nighthawk. Kawasaki included several improvements over the Honda: six speed transmission, fuel gauge, etc.
Let's hope they do the same thing with the Voyager. With a model which is superior to competitors, head to head comparisons would be the only way to overcome brand loyalty.
