Hi, i dont know if this is the one you are thinking of, but at the top, (opposite Dungeon Lane)of Eastern Ave, the was a small cottage set on the land between the shops and Hale Road. Myself and my sister used to go there on a Sunday morning for Sunday School, which was run by an elderly couple. I suppose at that age anyone who was older than myself would have seemed elderly. After teaching we would all receive a piece of home made apple pie. This would be about 1954/55 abouts.
