Hi all, I was brought up in Leafield Road, Hunts Cross, but I used to go to Speke a lot, in fact, every Sunday morning, noon and night, and Friday nights. I belonged to Speke Baptist Church, which, in those days was a little wooden hut at the end of (was it Eastern or Western Ave?) sorry cant remember that, but I loved it, and had many friends there, and would really love to get in touch with anybody who might remember me, or Millie or Cliff. I also remember walking with my Mum from Leafield Road, over the railway bridge to Speke library , and being that my Mum was on crutches at the time, it seemed like forever getting there!!! but we managed it, oh happy days xxx

I see Sir Paul McCartney actually missed Stellas' Spring Summer fashion show.......so he missed it when the audience stood on their seats to applaud Stella's fashion works.

Stella has now opened her first fashion store in Manhattan, New York aptly named "Stella McCartney"

Paul McCartney and Heather have now purchased their marital home located in Brighton......and that's not New Brighton.

Alderwood Avenue shops are being offered with free rent incentives for a period of 6 months. Sounds like a deal for some lucky retailers.
Interested ....call Datalord Management on 07000 356 356.

Customs and Excise officers seized 50,000 cigarettes at Speke John Lennon Airport which had been illegally sent from Dubai . Smugglers are now targeting Speke airport as their entry point for contraband.

George Harrisons' final album "Brainwashed" was released recently.......do you have a copy?

The Merseyside Police Hotline for shopping drug dealers is ...0800 555111......do it.

A £26 million expansion on John Lennon Airport is due to start this spring creating over 1,800 jobs for the Merseyside area.

What do you think of the wage increase that Lord Irvine has awarded himself....must be nice. Mind you, he is a hard working son of a gun making all those decisions about pay increases and which room to wallpaper next.

When people have worked hard all of their lives and had to retire on a meagre pension it is an absolute disgrace that this person should sit so smug with such an increase in salary.
I now hear that his increase is going to be reviewed....I wonder if that would have happened if he had not been exposed as a fat cat. Somehow I just cannot see him stepping forward and objecting to the obscene increase....then again he is the one we all look to for justice.
