hey everyone
steph and sara had the idea at the weekend that it would be good to have an extra team training this saturday because we have yet another demo on sunday and the following weekend we're off to brno, so we wont be all together for a while. the warwick group is on at 11 til 1, then we can train after that. im going at 11 to help out but dont worry if you cant make it til a bit later. then i think a little video session and chat and then everyone can stay at mine then we go to the demo on sunday.
sorry its such short notice. let us know if you can make it.
Hello everybody. Thank you to everybody for looking after me. A big thank you to Julie and Kathy for driving and looking after the horses. Also, well done to Megan who was amazing!
Loads of love from Paige xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
me and fi went shopping to primark on monday and we got 8 t shirts for everyone. it came to £14.50 total each. so make sure theres room in your bag for 8 more tops! we didn't manage to get any shorts though so also pack an extra couple of pairs of shorts. and don't forget your swimming costume! (i left it off the list oops!).
No we're not taking either because not everyone has the blue vest tops - do you remember Paige's last year haha! And the white hoodies aren't very white so I think we're planning to wear the blue stripey joules t-shirt because it'll look smarter.
hi sarah, its chloe, the one that used to ride haze ! never thought i would speak to you again ! so happy ive found you lol. i want to start vaulting again but i dont know if i can :(. where abouts is it now? speak soon xxxx
Three heavy elephants strolled naked along Kevin’s empty shed.
Always remember, elephants forget all the alphabet.
Norwegian ducks usually glide like yachts!
There once was a little ladybird crawling over a four leaf clover. It had 7 little spots on its back. Then the little ladybird opened its wings and took flight. It travelled all the way across the world. When it returned, it brought back lots of gold treasure, which it put with the rest of the gold it had found that year. Good luck little ladybird, good luck! cried the hawk to his friend as the ladybird set off on another adventure.
Hey everyone :)
I used to vault at Wittering with Stephie, and didn't stick with it due to my growing desire to be a showjumper.
I did however come down once for a training session with our group, Stephie will probably remember it. I still have Bowlers purple tinsel in my memory box.
I miss vaulting, and regularly wonder what would've happened if I'd've kept it up.
Every now and then I'll ride in bareback from the field and do scissors :) that's about as far as it goes now.
I would also like to say that I've started eventing, and out hunting/eventing people ask me about my balance and stickability. Everytime I put it down to the vaulting.
Just thought I'd stick my head in.
Good luck for the future everyone, and hello Stephie :)

I'm 13, and i have been riding all my life. I have 2 horses, and i do vault, but i have taught myself. I dont have any special saddle or anything, i just my horse in his headcollar and my sister or my mum or someone just lunges him round the school. I can now do handstands whilst he is cantering round and i took him into a cross-country course and let him run lose and when he jumps over the jumps, i can manage to stand on his back and stay on. when my horse gallops past me, i can jump onto him. I know you are suppose to have a special saddle and all that to do this, but i just do it bare back which is suppose to be harder. Does anyone know how i can apply to be in the team? I live in East Sussex, but i am prepared to travel. xx my addy is perfect_drama_queen2005@hotmail.com

Saumur results – Julie together will Sarah Watson, Lucy Bell, Sarah Reid, Steph Hunter, Geoffrey and Cassie made the journey to France, where everybody performed really well. Geoffrey and Cassie performed beautifully in their first international and let’s hope this is a promising start for the future. Well done to you all.
Final results were Sarah W 10th with a score of 6.505 and first round results for Lucy, 23rd with 6.239, Steph 30th with 5.861 and Sarah 31st with 5.847.
British Open – probably the group’s biggest PR event of the year Julie took Sarah H, Liz W, Sarah W, Lucy B, Sarah Reid, Steph H, Paige B, Emma R, Lydia B, Zoe W & Fiona J with Geoffrey for horsepower. The vaulters stayed in luxury at the Hilton hotel and had a wonderful time so thank you to the organizers for looking after them so well. Geoffrey had a step learning curve and only got phased on the first day by the spotlights, but soon settled down to carry the team freestyle for all 5 performances over the 4 days. Julies thanks go to everybody for the way they behaved and conducted themselves at such a big event. Julie has had a letter for the organizers thanking her for EVS’s participation so hopefully they will be back there next year.
Winter Championships Solihull, after Friday and Saturday evenings performances at the British Open the team were whisked away to perform a second demonstration at Solihull where Cassie was waiting for them having been turned on by Richard. The vaulters performed a selection of moves finishing in a spectacular 3 up combination.
Julie thanks all the vaulters, parents and those involved for their cooperation and help with these two events.
Overton Competition Sunday 29th April – will all vaulters arrive by 9am please, Julie is bringing Geoffrey, Cassie and Herbie as horsepower for the event and you should all know what classes you are entered for, please remember to bring your music with you for the event. Penny has given the following directions - Once you are in the centre of Whitchurch (which is a very small roundabout with Somerfields facing you). Take the road signposted Andover and Hurstbourne Priors. Somerfields should be on your right when you go down this road. Follow this road out of Whitchurch and then for about 4 miles (total guess) you will come to a dip with a pub on the left. Turn left before the pub and first right after a cream thatched house. You will then have arrived.
See you there.
Bowler is coming over to Fenny Compton for his retirement and Go Fast will now be at Lowlands to be used by the Saturday group. It’s Bowlers birthday on the 4th of May and Julie thinks that we should bring him bags of apples or carrots as presents.
NEW LOGO REQUIRED - attention all you budding artists, we need a new logo for EVS to go on cat suits, bags, coats, handouts website, etc. So get your pencils out or fire up your graphics program on your PC and get designing.
